Work in Dubai Now - It’s Tax-Free

February 9, 2009

You probably wonder how come the title says that a work in Dubai is tax free when the world is on the brink of a fluctuating economy where no one knows what will happen in a few months or even days. Well don’t ever doubt that, indeed, your salary will be in full amount when the pay envelope comes your hand. The reason perhaps since Dubai is one of the most industrialized countries that their oil supply even made the prices of crude as low as buying candies in the street.

A good example perhaps about this is when in the Philippines, you can buy diesel at Php 30.00, in Dubai, the price of diesel is only Php 18.00 to compare in peso amount as available in the Philippines. Imagine that was almost half the price you can buy in the Philippines compared. No wonder.

Not just that, Dubai labor laws are intended to be fair enough both for the worker as well as the employer. They have strict rules but at least we know that corruption is miles and miles away from the government officials unlike here in the Philippines where almost everything runs under red tape. Dubai is really the place to work and I do not need to elaborate anymore because I’m afraid that it might lead to more comparison which even I don’t like doing unless necessary to see things a little bit clearer. For those OFWs interested to find work in Dubai, you can head straight for the official website of the POEA and see accredited agencies listing.
